Variegation is the reason half this hobby exists. That white, cream or yellow marbling is a genetic quirk where patches of leaf produce no chlorophyll, and because those patches cannot photosynthesise, a variegated plant grows slower and stays scarcer than its plain green twin. Scarcity is exactly why a variegated Monstera costs what it costs. It is also why we sell it as tissue culture and plugs instead of finished plants.

You will find albo, aurea, mint and Thai Constellation style variegation across the catalog here, concentrated in the aroids: Monstera, Philodendron, Syngonium and Alocasia. Every variety on this page is flagged with the Variegated trait, so you can shop the look rather than hunting through nine plant categories for it.

Two honest notes before you buy. Variegated plants want brighter light than their green counterparts, because they have less chlorophyll to work with, and they are slower growers, so patience is part of the deal. And variegation is not guaranteed to be stable: a plant can revert to green or push an all white leaf that cannot sustain itself. That is the nature of the trait, not a defect, and it is part of why fronting the risk yourself at a starter price makes so much more sense than paying a finished plant premium.

New variegated varieties land every week. If you are new to growing from a plug or from tissue culture, start with the plug vs tissue culture guide.
