Where do you ship from, and where do you ship to?
We ship from our licensed nursery operation to all US states except Hawaii and Alaska (no territories, no international).
What do I do with my plug when it arrives?
Pot it up in your usual aroid mix and grow, care is the same as a full-size plant. No acclimation needed. Carnivorous plugs are the exception, they need mineral-free water and fertilizer-free media.
How do I acclimate a tissue culture?
Rest it, rinse off the agar, sterilize, pot, and harden off over 10-14 days.
What size will my plant be?
Plugs are well-rooted young plants; tissue culture is a small plantlet. Product photos show both what you’ll receive and a matured example.
Do you guarantee live arrival?
Yes.
Do I need to buy heat/cold protection?
Only in temperature extremes, and it’s required to keep the guarantee then.
My flytrap arrived black. Is it dead?
Almost certainly not. Traps blacken normally, and in winter the whole plant goes dormant and looks dead.
